Information for the day
How to get there
This map shows layout of Phasels Wood, the address is A41, Kings Langley WD4 9NA. The entrance is accessed from the second lay-by on the A41 from the M25 junction. We will be based in and around the Jubilee hut shown on the map.
Parking
Wheelchair users are advised to drive to reception where there is limited parking. You are advised to park in the main East car park at the A41 entrance to the site. Car parks are marked on the enclosed map. If it’s easier for you, you can drop off your group near Jubilee hut and then move your car to one of the car parks.
When you get there
Head towards the Jubilee hut and register your arrival at the registration desk and sign your group in, grab a cup of tea and a pastry and await further instructions. There will be a briefing for everyone at 10.00 and at 10.20 you will head over to your first activity.
The activities
We have a host of activities planned for you including :- abseiling, archery, aeroball, ridgeline, human hungry hippos, human table football, crafts etc. You will need to move at a reasonably fast pace around the various activities but will be guided by your team leader. However because we have so much planned for you, you may not get to do everything listed but fear not your day will be packed full of lots to do. If you need to take a rest at any time, you can head back to the Jubilee hut for a cup of tea and a sit down.

In addition to wearing suitable clothing and footwear (trainers) you will need to bring the following with you:

The day will finish at 9.30pm on Saturday evening. It would be great if you could help pack everything away and clear up at the end.

- Re-fillable water bottle
- Sun Cream
- Coat or water-proof depending on the weather
- Picnic blanket/camping chair for sitting on (we will have limited benches/chairs)
- Money for raffle and drinks in the evening
